Package diagram

Thanks to Dmitri, I downloaded the Humphrey Sheil presentation - it says add a small package diagram to show framework usage.

In the book the class diagram has a small package on the side showing the framework usage. Is this an ok way to do it? - can you mix a package diagram and a class diagram together?

Won't it make sense to create a separate package diagram? - if that is the case is it ok to create a diagram that is not specified in the deliverables.

Has anyone done this?

Because of the time and money involved I'm too scared to do anything "outside of the spec"

Hi,

I've done exactly as it is in Presentation and in Chapter 9. I think it is absolutely possible to add one more diagram, but I haven't done it.
