SCJP tomorrow! Any study suggestions?

Hey folks,

I sit for the SCJP 6 tomorrow morning. Any last minute study tips from those who have passed the exam? I've mostly used the K&B book with a lot of code practice. Any tips of what I need to burn into my brain before I sit for the exam would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Just go thru the K&B book again and try to take a mock test and relax after that. Don't do any last minute reading. Watch a movie in the night and sleep well, that you will be fresh for the exam.

^ is there a book or website called Meditate, or are you advising me to calm down through meditation?

Thanks for the tips!

I think that you have to take it easy, relax today, sleep enough, don't do anything that impacts you with some remembering or something like that, don't focus your feelings in another problem or something like that.

I agree with most of the above, with a few more ideas:

- if you study at all, think about focusing on your strengths, not your weaknesses - this is the now infamous' Tiger Wood's strategy
- get well hydrated today - watch out for too much water during the exam

Calmness is important during the exam.

Good luck, and let us know how you did!

I didn't fail!!

Not as high a score as I would have liked, but that's the SCJP in the bag.

Thanks for all the help and tips!
