The first step toward preparing for scbcd is to take a good refrence book and read sever side java(ejb, rmi, jndi) concepts.some of the refrence books are

1)Enterprise Java Beans(Orielly)
2)EJB 3 in Action
3)Mastering EJB(free download available at serverside.com)

Then you can read study notes by
Mikalai Zaikin(http://faq.javaranch.com/content/MZ_SCBCD_5_Study_Guide.pdf)

I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
