EJB vs Spring in SOA applications

1. May I know if I am correct, EJB is used in SOA to hide the implementation logic of services or Java Code.

2. When spring serves the same purpose why should we use EJB in SOA applications.

3. Can you tell me if EJB SLSB can be used along with Spring IoC in any application? if yes any example for that?

1) EJB is an option for that
2) Spring and EJB are competing technologies. Competing technologies can exist
3) Yes. Spring can call EJBs.
