I found out that I have 2 servers installed on my system. Wow. I knew about Orion, because I did that consciously for the Cattle Drive quite some time ago, and apparently when I had more functioning brain cells, but I also have Apache installed, and I didn't know that until last night. I also installed it for the Cattle Drive last December, but I was only doing it so I could use the subversion stuff to keep the Cattle Drive files current in the repository, and had no idea I was installing the whole server thing. So I've been spending the last 48 hours or so trying to find the source of a stupid web page that I first thought was being sent from Orion, and could not locate anywhere, mainly because it wasn't there. When I finally accepted the fact that I had another server on my system, I then spent hours looking for the source of this file, and would probably never have found it if it weren't for the JavaRanch forums. I posting an sos in other products and servers and some jolly Rancher came to my aid with information that pointed me to a config file that I read and actually understood part of, and went back to a folder I had visited several times already and found the little bugger right where I had seen it last night, but for some reason didn't make the connection. (But I swear when I looked at it last night it was different, but it was late, and I'm not sure my brain was functioning properly at that time.) Anyway, I found the little bugger and found out a little about my Stealth Server, and which directory the index.html goes in.
Hooray for JavaRanch!
