Got 78 % in SCJP 1.6.....should i go for retest to improve score?

Hi,

I have cleared SCJP exam CX-310-065 (1.6) with 78% (47 out of 60).
I am not happy with my score. I was planning to give SCWCD 1.5 certification exam but got depressed with this score in SCJP exam.
Please guide me on whether should i go for retest or not.

Score is good. Just check where you are lacking in SCJP and work on those areas and then go for SCWCD.

Score is not that important. What more important is how good your concepts are.

I read somewhere you are not allowed to do it again once you passed. Can't find the link right now though.

I guess the score is just pretty well. Don't get dejected. Aim for SCWCD and crack it with high percentage. Again more then the score
your concepts matter. So i think so you have done just very well.

. 78% is really a good score. Also that's not possible to re take the exam that you have cleared.
All the best for the SCWCD exam.

Even I have completed SCJP 1.6 but with a lesser score than that of yours. I dont think score is not that important when compared to that of your hands on experience and the concepts you know.

Even I was disappointed to see my score so low but again concepts and hands on experience matters. So I think going ahead with the next level exam and concentrating on the weaker areas will help.
