sx:datetimepicker calendar background color

The ajax tag datetimepicker generates a calendar in blue. Is there anyway to customize the calendar to use different background color?
Doing my own css and use the templateCssPath does not work somehow.

Same issue with the tabbedPanel that the tabs are always blue and wasn't able to change the color.

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.
