This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
Original objective 1.5: 'Develop code that declares both static and non-static methods, and -if appropriate-, use method names that adhere to the JavaBeans naming standards. Also develop code that declares and uses a variable-length argument list. '
is no longer part of the objectives as listed for cx-310-065:
But strangely enough it is still part of the objectives for the upgrade exam: cx-310-066:
The exam objectives does say something about static variables... (exam objective 1.3)
"Develop code that declares, initializes, and uses primitives, arrays, enums, and objects as static, instance, and local variables. Also, use legal identifiers for variable names. "
Now, I think this implicitly means that you must have a good knowledge for the static keyword... when used for variables as well as for methods also. But, yeah it doesn't say anything about variable-length arguments, and I don't know whether they are part of exam syllabus... (Though they appear in almost all the books for SCJP 6 )

Sorry (I know this is off topic), but I just found out the links I gave are useless. They were copied from the address bar of my browser.
Apparently they refer to something in my session which is gone after the session is closed.
Does anybody know how to get a 'real' link on this site that can be used independent of any session?
This is laughable the way Oracle's site is running. Its almost impossible to get a direct link. Still this link will directly take you to SCJP objectives (this is just a trick as I've added the location and language to the query string itself)...
