Hi friends

I want to know the reasons why and when we should go for IBM RAD instead of Eclipse.

Waiting for your answers

Thank you

Arvind,
Welcome to the Ranch.

We have a forum dedicated for IDE related questions, where I feel you will get better answers. I will move this thread over there for you.

You have to try it to find out the difference. Obviously when you pay for something you expect to get something more than the one that is available for free.

It includes a bunch of tools that most people never, ever use. With the introduction of MyEclipse Blue, I wouldn't spend the money for it, since I never used the additional tools either.

Maybe you should do a feature matrix comparison.
