I used an s:link to solve a problem where the application became unresponsive after generating an excel with seam excel. The new problem that arose is that the user validation popup that i use doesn't get updated to dissapear after i push the ok button. I'm not familiar enough with the architecture to tell where this fails. Any thoughts?

This is because only one response gets through, the excel or the UI refresh, not both. Any toughts about some tricks i could use?
