I am going to build a project in which I have to build genealogy system. For that I need to create a gedcom file. I want to create a java program that can read and modify gedcom file. Any solutions?

and which library is there? please do some help ...
Piyush, everyone here is willing to help. But for questions like these, it's far easier to use a search engine and find out any documentation. I have zero knowledge (atleast until a few seconds back) about GEDCOM and have no clue whether there's any Java library which can help me with those files. So I just opened up my Google search toolbar and entered the following search phrase "gedcom open source java project". It showed up results which included a link to this which then led me to this project. So it does look like there's a Java library out there (as Ulf had already pointed out in his earlier reply), infact it even has its own forums (if you read through the documentation on that site).
So a few seconds back, I had no clue about what GEDCOM file was, but I now know what it is and that it has a Java library. Just a simple search helps, instead of having to wait for replies in forums for questions like these.
