In mock exams(whizlab) i had diffculty in answering design pattern questions.Although i read design patterns and understood it there is still some diffuclty in
getting the answer correct. In most of the cases they come up with a case where it could be possible that two design patterns could be used(not multiple choice)

For example there was a straight question.I have to pass an command object to set of object will design pattern to choose.

Options given are command ,filter and chain of responsiblity.

I answered command but the right answer was Chain of responsiblity.

I got the same problem, it took me quite a while to work out why a pattern was better than other, and in about 20% of cases, I just couldn’t work it out.

The good news are the in the exam, the questions are lots more clear cut, so if you can answer the whizlabs ones and understand the patterns, you will have no problem answering the real questions.

Design Pattern questions are always difficult ones...I thought I had got all Design Pattern questions right in the exam, but it didn't turn out that way...
You have to understand that Design Patterns are solutions for specific pattern of problems - one pattern solves one problem - you should not look at it like - how to solve the same problem with different patterns...

These mock exams are good for this practice:
