Hi all,

I have this cancel but code in my jsp.

and I have the isCancelled(request) method in the action class but when i click the "cancel" button the method is not getting invoked instead the form is getting submitted. what could be the reason for this?

Thanks,
Shankar

I've never used the <html:cancel/>&; tag so I might be wrong, but I don't think that the framework is supposed to call isCancelled() -- I believe that method is in the Action class for you to call.

I dont need to invoke this method, i just need to implement this method in the Action class, it is invoked by the struts framework when the cancel button is clicked, It works for me in other forms. Its similar to validate method in the ActionForm.

Well, if the server-side code inside isCancelled() is identical, then what's the difference between the JSPs?

The code

the difference between other jsp button is that i do not have a <html:submit> button on those pages.
