Question on JAXB Validation

I am using JAXB for marshalling and unmarshalling from Java to XML and vice versa. I have a requirement where i need to validate the input xml against a schema and if the xml is invalid i need to update the input xml with all the error codes on the parent node in which the validation failed and save the xml to a network drive. Whats the best way to acheive this?
