native2ascii -reverse Not Working

I can't seem to get back my chinese texts by using native2ascii.

1) native2ascii -encoding utf8 file1.txt > file2.txt
2) native2ascii -encoding utf8 -reverse file2.txt > file3.txt

By right, the content for file3.txt should be the same as file1.txt
but it's having some funny characters instead.

Any clues?

Thanks in advance.

Did you open the file3.txt correctly ? Which editor are you using ?

Hi Chris,

I've found the problem.
The file redirection is causing it.

I agree. Here's the link:
