Please tell me how to crack scjp.
I have read K&B thoroughly but when i try any of the mock exams i could not answer the questions.
I feel as if i dont remember anything.
Please advise some plan or strategy of studying.
I dont know what to do next ?
Thanks

Please do a lot of mock exams. You'll find a list of free and commercial mock exams in ScjpMockTests...

Mock exams will help you a lot. Note down the ones that are incorrect and go through that particular topics in K&B, I am sure you wont repeat the same mistake again if you do it this way.

Make small notes from K&B. Plus go through two minute drills once again. Do a lot of mock exams and i am
sure you will do well.
Best Regards,

please use the mock exams as a learning tool. you will definitely learn a lot after doing each exam and reviewing the answers. try K&B mock exams and then Exam Lab mock exams . Exam Lab is having 5 exams and each one is having detailed explanations on answers. Review each of your answer whether it is correct or wrong and if the answer is not correct, try to understand why you selected the wrong answer. After that re-read the K&B, Java API docs etc till you become crystal clear on the concepts!

mock exams are a good part of your study plan, but in addition, I would say that you should write LOTS of small Java programs. If you get a mock question wrong, type the code in, compile it, change it a bit, test it, and so on.

When I was preparing for SCJP I would get confused when I started taking the mocks.
Then I went with the suggestion provided in K & B . I started making 10-15 Q & A cards everyday. I did this for a few days and gained confidence . It helped me. It may or may not help you. Just writing what I went through.
Don't worry. Lat afew days pass you will be able to solve them.
