Hi Everybody,
Just like to say to all the aspiring/prospective SCWCD test-takers, that the best way I think to ascertain a good-great pass on The SCWCD exam is to read the
SCWCD Study Companion by Charles Lyons and straight after read the Specifications itself and then dive Head First, into the mock exams lol.
Kind Regards

Congratulations !!! Your score is amazing !!!
I have already purchased Charles's book for 310-083 (the latest one) and i'm glad to know that it is OK to prepare you well for the exam.
But do i really need to dive into Head First ?!
I really want to 'eat' only one book for my preparation .... I'm tired of reading 5 different resources (as i did for SCBCD 5)...

Thanks everybuddy
Hi Krum, well The Study Companion by Charles Lyon is a more factual/straight to the point 'reference book' very thorough, so from my experience I`d say you`d be well equiped with that book, but please do yourself a favour and read the Servlet/JSP/TLD/TAG Specifications itself and draw your own implications and make notes from the things you can`t remember and also when doing the mock exam questions you should always make notes of every question you get wrong, make note of what you got wrong firstly and then the right answer. If you need anything don`t hesitate to ask...

Craig,
Congratulations on passing the exam. I would appreciate if you can specify the versions for Servlets, JSP, JSTL & EL you prepared for.
Thanks

Hi Quadir,
I`ve downloaded(from JCP) and studied the following specifications for the 310-083 SCWCD 1.5 exam:
Servlet Specification 2.4
JSP Specification 2
JSTL 1.1
...and as for the EL version/spec, I believe the term Expression Language itself is implicitly JSP Expression Language so the JSP Specification 2 is what you`re looking for I think.
Kind Regards
Craig

Congratulations. Thanks for sharing your study techniques. They are inline with the approach I am taking as I prepare for the examination in June 2010.
