I have my errors defined in the jsp page as :

<tr>
<td style="error" colspan='2'>
<logic:messagesPresent>
<html:messages id="errors" >
<li><bean:write name="errors" /></li>
</html:messages>
</logic:messagesPresent>
</td>
</tr>

In the style sheet my class is defined as

A.error {
COLOR: #CC0000; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana, Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; FONT-WEIGHT: bold; FONT-SIZE: 13px; TEXT-DECORATION: none
}

However my style sheet class is not being taken and i am still getting the errors messages in black. any idea on why this is happening?

Thanks

This doesn't really have anything to do with Struts; it's a CSS issue.

Use:

td.error {
...
}

and

<td class="error">

instead.
