Not sure; but you can click or double-click (forget which) the left margin of the editor in Eclipse and set a breakpoint on that line. That is a blue blob; when execution reaches that blob it is suspended until you give it the options of "step into" "step over" or "step return" (f5, f6, f7, I think). You can try those and see what they do; each does something different to method calls. There is a similar facility in NetBeans, but it has one major difference . . .
