Hello all,

I just wanted to express my disappointment as I failed the SCJP 5.0 for the second time with 53%. I have read through the K&B book and purchased UCertify Prep Kit. I was scoring around 80% in the UCertify mocks and felt confident to take the exam. I can’t believe my own disappointment. I think UCertify need to change their mocks as they do not relate to the actual exam. In my opinion if anyone wants to prepare for the exam do not purchase UCertify. I am so upset. I had an interview lined up but only if I had acquired the SCJP certificate, so looks like I have lost out on that. I don’t know what to do now.

Is Whizlabs a better solution for mock exams? How long do you think I should take to prepare for another attempt?

John

Dear John,

I am very sorry to hear about it. Don't call it failure mate. By every failure we learn something.

Mate, i would suggest try preparing from ExamLab. It is free also and heard it is an excellent resource.
I will suggest you, check where you are scoring low and practice a lot of mock questions in that area.

Don't loose heart. Failure comes but real failure is if you don't try again. It's life, it happens. So don't let it bother you
too much. Take it easy. I will suggest you, have a break for atleast three days. Relax your mind and then take atleast
two weeks to prepare well from the mock exams and concentrate on your weak areas. I am sure this time you will clear
the exam with more high colors. Take it easy brother.

If you find any difficulty, post it over here. All people will definitely encourage you too try once more. Don't lose heart, just
one more try and i am sure, you will get a high flying score.

Best of luck,

Sheriff

Forget about the past, prepare with full confidence and you'll succeed. Use examlab, inquisition and master exam (which comes with the K&B book). Also go through the K&B book once again...

Good luck.

I am going down to the lab. Do NOT let anyone in. Not even this tiny ad:
