I hate Raw Carrots. Love Cooked carrots. What about you?

If love was a sandwich, I'd eat it.

I'm partial to cooked but like raw also. Just not as much.

I'm curious how do you cook you carrots? The only way I know of is in an Indian sweet dish called Gaajar Ka Halwa which looks like this

I either coin slice them and boil them in water with a bit of salt in it, or smear barbeque sauce all over the whole carrot and grill it.

Raw. I actually will take a small bag of raw carrots to work to snack on through the day. Healthier than a candy bar.

It's cool that you're making a healthy choice I do the same with green pepper.

I like them both raw and cooked. But don't cook them too long, they should not become completely soft.

It probably was baby food until they decided to install almonds and cashews as components that baby could potentially choke on. It stopped being baby food from that day forward.

Prefer raw, but will occasionally cook them. Like last night when I made honey-glazed carrots and snap peas to go with a pot roast

I know the Arabian halwa which is made of dates, which is very sweet and sticky. Didn't know there was something with carrots with the same name.

Bear, if you like sweet dishes then I will recommend to try 'Gaajar Ka Halwa'. Yummy, really yummy (when freshly cooked with lots of calories). But once a while it is OK to have it.

Eric, It is for babies of all the ages from 5 to 80.
