Hi guys,

I am creating a subdomain through virtual hosts on openSuse linux using java. Eveerything goes fine but the when i try to reload apache through java code it shows document root directory of some other subdomain but the url in the address bar is correctly shown. I am using the following code:-

Runtime .getRuntime.exec(sh apacheReload.sh);

where apacheReload.sh is my bash file that contains:-
#! /bin/bash
/etc/init.d/apache2 reload

But when i try to reload the apache through console it works fine.

I believe you are pointing to the same problem as you do here. None of these questions belong to this forum.

Moving this to Java In General as i dont think this is a problem particular to apache. At a casual glance it looks like you are not consuming the error stream where you may have some errors.

apigee, a better way to API!
