If teaching experience did not help, I don't think SCWCD will help.
-- Some how get a foot in the door. Even if it is an entry level position. You can work your way up quickly.
-- Increase your hands on experience with tutorials, self-taught projects, and open-source contributions.

What do you mean by "due to teaching experience they dont consider"? Are you saying that because you are a teacher that they don't want you? Or are you saying that they don't count the teaching experience, and hence, offering you a salary lower because you have little experience that counts?

Yea. I thought so too... but making sure.
Quite frankly, I think it is to be expected. Going from teaching to programming is very like changing careers. And changing careers generally mean starting over.

Doing more certification will not help. I would suggest instead of doing more certification, if possible contribute in open source project or some low salary part time *coding* job in small companies.

You have to start by learning first, practice, practice, practice.
