Struts 1 exception handler

Hi all,

I have a class that extends the struts ExceptionHandler. I understand that whenever an error is thrown up the stack. It is eventually caught by the extended exception handler. The class increments a count . Only now I need to write some functionality that only increments the count once per session.
Any ideas how?

Thanks in advance

The Struts 1 exception handler class has an HttpServletRequest in its execute() method.

I see. Of course I can get the session ID from that.
