Is it a good idea to put mp3 or wave file into a database? Will that fit a BLOB type?

Yes, you will need a BLOB to store WAV or MP3 contents. Whether that is good idea, or if it is better to store the music files in some other location and store paths to them in the database is a debate I will leave for others.
