What's the advantage of using JSF & Struts? I know that both do field validations, so therefore, is it redundant to use both, simultaneously?
Is there a big learning curve or are both frameworks easy for an experienced programmer?

Also, can you make menus (e.g. http://www.msnbc.com) in JSF?
