Hi I'm trying to get a existing Java program to read my own custom local log4j.properties by loading it in the classpath, problem is it does not recognize.

I then did a search on the libraries that is used by the program and found 2 jar files that contain log4j.properties. I removed the log4j.properties in the jar and rejar it, did a clean build but still the program does not recognize my own custom log4j.properties.

Any idea?

It must be picking up one from somewhere, have you also checked for log4j.xml files?

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
