Hi all, I've searching for quit a bit now and I don't think the following is possible to achieve : I want a huge image which is downloaded from a URL and simultaneously rendering it in a java application/applet before it is entirely loaded/streamed in memory. Ultimately the effect which I'm looking for is this http://codinghorror.typepad.com/.a/6a0120a85dcdae970b0128776fcab6970c-pi

If someone knows the means to achieve this task please acknowledge me, thanks
