OSGi fetures

Hi Authors,

1 - What are the key features of OSGi technically (anything other than dynamic deployment of modules or is it just the main feature of that)?
2 - What kind of application(s) are better suited to use OSGi?
3 - Are there any comparisons between different OSGi implementations in the book?

Thanks,
