This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
Have you included scenario examples in new book to guide when a particular technology is applicable? Candidate is expected to know if he will pick JSP or JSF or JSF+AJAX in given scenario, similarly JPA versus JDBC. Does your book contain guidelines on this? Same question is applicable to design patterns. Candidate is expected to decide what pattern will be applicable in given scenario. Will the book be sufficient for them to prepare for certification from this aspect?
