Hi Mark & Humphrey,

what do you think about the impact of OSGi on J2EE - and is this topic covered in your book?

Now that GlassFish v3 is built on OSGi it's fairly easy to mix and match OSGi modules with J2EE6 components. Is this a good thing, or something to be avoided at all costs?

The use of OSGi modules seems apeaalling because it could enhance modularity and free us from having to package the same EJBs into multiple related applications on the same application server.
