Difference between books

Hi there, this is not only question for authors (they can advertise themselfs :-) ), but also for other fellows who would like to share their opinion.

What is the difference (scale, target audience etc.) between books from Paul/Joseph and Mark/Humprey? I understand that each publication has slightly different goals (it must have because one has three times more pages than the other), but I'm unnable to figure out clear points in what do they differ. I've read book by Paul/Joseph and went through few pages of the other. The answer could help others to decide what book more fits their needs.

I wanted to add that I'm glad that there is still no book on part 2 & 3 and it still requires some experience.
