It is advised to wait till after you get an assignment back to start the next one? Or can you send in more than one?
Most folks start with java-1a. And after I have them beat into shape, and they provide a flawless Java-1a, we move on to Java-1b ...
Nitpicking all the assignments must be very time consuming, so how long does it typically take to get a reply after turning in an assignment?
You should receive a reply within 24-48 hours. If you don't, I suggest pinging your assigned nitpicker.
And other than emailing it is there anywhere else you should post your status?
Well, we do have the "Assignment Log" in this forum which helps keep track of where you are It's function is to assist students to encourage each other. (Note: The nitpickers are not the same people who update the log)
If you have questions about an assignment or about the Cattle Drive itself, it is best to begin a new thread (like this one). Thanks for asking

Welcome to the Drive, Deza. If you post in the assignment log thread in this forum each time you submit and/or pass an assignment, I can update you in the log and you can keep track of your progress as well as that of the other drivers. And when you graduate to the next set of assignments, you get a moose badge by your name in the Cattle Drive Hall of Fame. So sharpen up them spurs, and get real comfy in that saddle, 'cause you got some ridin' to do!
Hey, cool name Deza - I am just joining the drive too so we get to start together!

Thanks Ray... Most people call me Dez (dey-zh)for short or Dezjey for long. Take your pick. Either way it's not pronounced how its spelled.

Cool Dez -- so you pronounce your name kind of like deey-zuh, almost like Dayzah?

I haven't been here long, but what a great place!
Marilyn - WOW! Youre amazing, and quick. I can't imagine what it's like doing the nitpicking but your much appreciated by this "greenhorn"!
Carol - thank you for the welcome, and hopefully I can keep my spurs sharp. I have a tendency to get excited over the small things so seeing my name added to the Assignment Log made my day!
A big thanks to both of you!
I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to
run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
