Error in Java Home in Ubuntu

Guys,

I have Maven and Java installed on my Ubuntu partition. I did set my path variable in my bashrc file and below is what I see when I test the path:



Below is the actual entry in the bashrc file:

Finally corrected the bashrc file as below and it worked fine:

I really like this way of learning things. Trying things out by myself and ofcourse getting some help when needed from the ranch!

One idea of JAVA_HOME is, that you switch to a newer version, and just change the variable in one place.

For this to work you set the PATH to
