display error messages in new window (pop up)

hi,

i have created a register form with struts. when during the registration process errors occur (let's say someone entered an invalid username) are they saved in an errorArray and later on added to a error map. in my current version the errors are linked to the register form and displayed there. now i want to display the errors in a popup window. is there a way to do this and if yes, how?

by the way. i've found a lib called strutserrortag.jar which does excatly what i need but i can't get it to work. i keep getting errors which i can't figure out why.
