ClassLoader - intutive issue

If I try to use ClassLoader.getClassLoader().getResource("Name") in a simple java application it works fine, but if I try using the same statement in context of a servlet it fails. Is there something that I am missing.

I have tried all the options class.getResource() and others. Do I need to do something specific for a servlet to get a resource?
