In case of Connection pooling, how many connections are available in pool. Is there any way to set this size?

I am slow but sure

Yes, all connection pools allow to set a minimum and maximum pool size (as well as some other options). Check the documentation of whichever one you're using (Apache DBCP has recently come back to life).
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
