Hi mates,

After 3 months preparing for SCJP 6, I've read K&B twice, taking notes (writing a summary for each chapter) that I've read 5-6 times. I've taken CertPal, ExamLab and MasterExam (and a few others) mocks. I've scored, in this order:

* CertPal: 70% average.
* ExamLab:
    - Diagnostic exam: 52%
    - Practice exam 1: 51%
    - Practice exam 2: 65%
    - Practice exam 3: 51%
    - Final exam: 69%
* Master exam: 71% (today )

I've also written a note (or a rule) for each missed answer in these mocks and I read them twice a week. Do you think I should take the exam next week? (I haven't scheduled the appointment to take the exam yet).

Best regards.

I would say go for it. Your score on all the mock exams look good...

Go ahead and schedule your exam!
69% in final Exam lab exam is an excellent score!. I got only 52% in the final one, but 68% in the first! But I was hurrying and finished in 1:30 hours.
Re-read the TwO-minute drill, all your notes from book and mock exams etc. as a last step.
Try to go through API for the following classes:
Did I miss anything?

Wish you all the best!

Thanks, Ankit and Rajeev, I'll follow your suggestions. I'll re-read the API for those classes, the Two-minute drill and my notes. It's only 58% to pass... I'm confident!

Best regards!

Wow! It would be great, but I'll still be happy if I pass but score less than 90 :P Thank you again!!! I'll post before and after taking the test.

Best regards.

Hi all,

Thanks you all, I'll post when I take my exam. I've just visited the prometric center this morning. I need to solve some issues with my credit card and maybe I'll be able to schedule my exam tomorrow. I hope to take it next thursday.

Best regards and thanks again.
