I have an Excel Template which is meant to contain some records from the database. Based no the user's request, JSP accesses the database through the Servlet to create an Array of records which will be used to populate the Excel Templet.
Note: This template of Excel already had some data and outlines that can be present in it and also need such information from the database be complete.
I need some help on which API I'll use to get this work done.

The Apache POI library can read and write Excel files, and is widely used for this purpose.
