updaing values to database in struts.

Hi every one....

Need your help ya...........

I am fetching the values from database and displaying the DB values in a JSP. I have to update the details in that JSP page and pass it again to DB. Is it possible to pass those updated values of a JSP to database without submitting form ? How to update the database with the recently updated values ? Can any one suggest me ideas ?

Of course, it is possible. But if you want your JSP to be doing the write operations to the database, why do you need Struts? That is very bad coding practice. Please look at one of the Struts tutorials to get started.

If you want to do it without submitting the form you'd need to use Ajax.
