Hi

Can anybody please let me know why there are two packages for flex Events that is flash.events and mx.events packages??

Please tell me what is the difference between flash.events and mx.events package ??

From the documentation:

The flash.events package supports the new DOM event model and includes the EventDispatcher base class.



One represents events from Flash objects the other are events from the Flex API.
