Hey i want to say that which are the same thing that both have like OOp based, packages,libraries i don't want's to compare them. i want to know similarities cause this question is asked to me in an interview.

Well, I hope in your interview you pointed out Flex is a framework and Java is a programming language which makes them difficult to directly compare, then asked your interviewer to clarify if they want you to talk about the simmilarities between ActionScript and Java, or specific Java API or Java frameworks and services provided in the Flex framework?
