Good evening everyone,

I'm looking for a tool or framework, which allows me to create and manage metadata for my application.

The idea would be that my application would have an XML containing the definitions of the metadata from the database of my application.
When I wanted to change the data structure of my application, I change the XML and to start implementing
this tool compare the database structure to XML and make changes as the definition of done in XML.

Otherwise there is a tool that does that or something like that, is there any framework or library that allows me to do that.

Thank you in community collaboration.

Welcome to JavaRanch!

This sounds a lot like what Hibernate does - have an XML file with the mappings and recreate the schema if it changes.
