Hi, ranchers !
I've just been notified that I have passed the SCJD exam.
My only advice: buy a zen garden because you will need huge amounts of pacience.
My grading took 10 weeks to complete .
I got replies from ww_suncert@oracle.com 2 weeks after I sent the emails .
Good luck to everyone currently developing the project !
Best regards.

Congratulations, Ivan! Your patience finally rewarded, have a cold beer (in your zen garden) to celebrate
Did you make a typo in the email address you got replies from (or did they change it again)?

Thanks a lot, Roel !
I checked the email address and it is correct (ww_suncert@oracle.com), but there is no automatic reply when you send a mail.
Actually, I didn't know they received it after the 2 weeks wait.
Best regards !

So all communication about SCJD has to go via suncert_ww@oracle.com and they send mails from ww_suncert@oracle.com. That's really (Or did you also have mailed to ww_suncert@oracle.com?)
Btw did you get your passing score?

Congratulations!
I have to submit my assignment next week, so I guess in the best case by the end of the summer I will
get my results.

Hi !
Roel, you are absolutely right. It's quite odd:
- My emails were sent to suncert_ww@oracle.com.
- The exam results came from developer-submit_US@oracle.com.
- The signature of the email (which fooled me) is ww_suncert@oracle.com.
I guess the passing score will arrive in another 10 weeks ... but I always can send an email to... suncert_ww@oracle.com?... no, maybe ... developer-submit_US@oracle.com? or is it ww_suncert@oracle.com?
Carlos, don't despair, I hope the delay is only temporary. Anyway, if you need it, I can give you my zen garden
Best regards

I can use a zen garden too, hopefully with a nice swimming pool. And then I only need a bit of brasilian sun shine and temperatures (It's here now 8-9 degrees and it should be spring at this moment )

Congratulations, Ivan! A 10 week wait seems to be never ending. I know. It took that long for me to get my results after submitting my project in February 2010. If I hadn't requested my score, I don't think that Oracle/Sun would ever have sent it to me. You may want to follow-up with another request to suncert_ww@oracle.com.
Good luck in your future endeavors!
