Part 2

Hi Guys

I am currently working on SCEA part 2.

I am planning to use the design strategy as given in Chapter 9 of SCEA Study guide.However the diagrams given look far more basic and more generic in their application.

Can someone advise based on their experience?Should there be more detailing involved?

The rule of thumb provided seems to suggest that we should be able to complete the entire assignment in about 40 hours of effort. If it is taking much longer than that, it is quite possible that you are providing more detail than might be necessary for the purpose of the exam. The solution provided in chapter 9 is apparently a good indication of the level of detail required in your solution. However, my solution is somewhat more detailed than the one provided in chapter 9, but not by much.

But do you think that the ch 9 solution is bit more generic?May be i got that feeling as my assignment too deals with biddings.

I am sure there are aspects of the chapter 9 solution that can apply to the part 2 submission. Specifically, I don't see a lot of change being required to the deployment diagram and some aspects of the component diagram as well.
