terminate a client in between the communication with server when a condition is met.

how to terminate a client in between the client server communication(by socket programming) when some condition is met at server and that(server) sending a signal to terminate the client.... how do you go about it??
It would be of really great help if someone could help out..

How about just closing the socket in the server? Not the server socket but the socket returned by the server socket's accept() method.

you can set response type sig_terminate(customized) from server socket end.When you receive this response from the server you need to close the client scoket and exit gracefully.
