i have not tried scjp 5.0 .

i want to start with 6.0 can i start??
it will be good or not?

It will be alway's to go with latest version. And there is not much difference between SCJP5 and SCJP6 . Check the objective of exam

Go for SCJP 6. The differences between 5 and 6 are minimal

I'm going to do the SCJP 6.0 too.

Main changes:

* Add API's:, java.util.NavigableSet, java.util.NavigableMap
* Number of questions: 72 (no change)
* Time: 210 minutes (increased from 175 minutes)
* Passing score: 65% (increased from 59%)
* Format of questions: No change.

Check this out:
The best ever SCJP 6.0 mock test I've taken. It has 43 very good free questions, and paid Qs are worth grossly more than the money one spends on them.
There are awesome explanations to right and wrong options for most of the Qs. One gets to learn many things from a single Q.
