The Smother Brothers retire

I doubt many folks here know who The Smothers Brothers are, but they apparently decided to retire recently. My wife and I saw them about 8 years ago, and they were awesome. They have/had a timeless comedy that didn't seem old or stale at all, even after (at the time) 40+ years in the business.

I'm glad we got to see them live.

I'm gonna have to see if their TV show is available on DVD...

I loved their TV show on CBS; I was always so sad when it was over. Especially the episode where they had as guests Joe Namath and Howard Cosell. I also liked their first series (before they had a variety show) in which Tommy was Dickie's dead brother returned as an incompetent angel.
