Can anybody please tell me what will be the importance or significance of sun providing Httpsession.isNew Method??

As per the docs it says that this method returns true when the Web container has created the server but the client is not still associated with it .

The question i mean to ask is that , in what cases this method would be useful ??

Please share your ideas . Thanks in advance .

As per my knowledge isNew is used to check whether there is any old session present or not if the old session expired it will create a brand new session for the request..........
