We are past pretty much past mindstorms at this point. Zachary really likes woodworking so I think we'll generally be going for a steampunk aesthetic. Our next goal -- we should achieve this within the next couple of days -- is a drawing robot. Attach a pen to this arm, cobble together some inverse kinematics code (Dad likes this part) and we should be able to make some mecha-artwork. Beyond that, we are both totally enamored of those little hexapod robots you can find on youtube -- but first Dad needs to find a source for cheaper servos, if possible, because we're going to need a whole heck of a lot of them.
